“Fully furnished” is one of the most commonly used — and most inconsistently applied — terms in PG and co-living listings. Before you commit, it’s worth knowing exactly what should be included — and what YOLO includes as standard, without asking.
The essentials that should always be there
- Bed with mattress
- Wardrobe or storage space
- Study table and chair
- Fan/AC depending on room type
- Curtains and basic lighting
Every YOLO room comes with all of this from day one — no negotiating for a table or chasing down a missing wardrobe.
Utilities that are often assumed but not guaranteed
- Wi-Fi (ask for actual speed, not just “available”) — YOLO provides genuine high-speed Wi-Fi across all properties.
- Power backup (important during Bengaluru’s monsoon season) — standard at every YOLO property.
- Hot water availability (and whether it’s 24×7 or fixed hours)
- Housekeeping frequency (daily vs weekly) — included as part of your YOLO stay, not an add-on.
- Laundry service — included at YOLO, so it’s one less thing to manage.
Amenities that separate YOLO from a basic PG
- Common lounge or recreational space, actually designed for use
- Dedicated 24×7 security staff, not just CCTV
- Organized community events
- Fast maintenance response time for repairs
Questions to explicitly ask before paying a token amount
- “Is Wi-Fi included in the rent, or billed separately?”
- “How many days a week is housekeeping done?”
- “Is there a fixed food menu, and can I see a sample week?”
- “What’s included in the security deposit refund policy?”
- “Is power backup available for the full flat/floor, or just common areas?”
At YOLO, the answer to most of these is simple: it’s already included. That’s the difference between a listing that sounds fully furnished and one that actually is.
